Description
Introduction
A DVI-I (Digital Visual Interface - Integrated) 29-pin male to female extension cable is designed to extend the length of an existing DVI-I cable. DVI-I cables are capable of transmitting both digital and analogue signals. They have a combination of pins that can support both digital (DVI-D) and analogue(DVI-A) signals. This type of cable is often used to connect devices such as computer monitors, projectors, or TVs to computers or other devices that output video signals through a DVI port. The male connector has 29 pins (with a combination of digital and analogue pins), while the female connector also has 29 pinholes to accommodate the extension cable. The purpose of the extension cable is to increase the distance between the source device and the display without signal degradation or loss. It allows users to connect the male end of an existing DVI-I cable to the female end of the extension cable, effectively lengthening the overall connection.
