 Description

The new small diameter CAT6A cable is an ideal solution for high density patching applications. It features a small, more flexible and spline-free design to improve the cable density and provides less cross section area. This helps improve air flow and rack ventilation. The data rate of this cable is rated to 10Gbps with a bandwidth of up to 500Mhz. It’s high performance is ensured with individual Fluke component test. It’s ready for your project use.

Design Features:

  • The small diameter CAT6A cable is constructed with a F/UTP cable which contains an outer foil shield underneath the cable jacket. Inside this CAT6A F/UTP cable, each pair of cable is twisted and separated by a cross divider. All 4 unshielded pairs are wrapped with a metal foil. The foil shield can act to prevent EMI/RFI from the adjacent cables or equipment. Moreover, the foil shield can also prevent the data from leaking out of the cable. 
  • All these CAT6A small diameter cables pass the ACMC lab tests and Fluke DSX-8000 component level tests. They are all with the RCM marking and ready for project /data centre uses. 
  • Nominal cable jacket OD is 4.6mm. Compared to the 26AWG S/FTP CAT6A cable, this small diameter CAT6A cable reduces the cable size by 24% . It has 38% smaller cross section area.
  • With LSZH Jacker - LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). The Low smoke zero halogen cable is popular as it is environmentally friendly, flame-retardant, resistant and ageing, which can provide fire safety and emits less toxic gas in case of burning. It is required by most data centres today.
  • The CAT6A S/FTP cable plug features a snagless design which can protect the locking clips on the RJ45 connectors from being damaged or snapped off during installation.
  • Meets Category 6A plug to plug electrical and transmission parameters.
  • Foil Shielded ( F/UTP ) with drain wire design for EMI/RFI protection.
  • The RJ45 plug used for this cable has 50 micron Gold Plated contacts which offers maximum data performance and corrosion resistance.
